Preparing For Your Hunt
All Texas game laws will be adhered to at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS! All hunters at all times are required to have a valid Texas Hunting License and photo identification. Non-Texas residents may secure a Texas Hunting License online at Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Being mentally and physically prepared for your hunt will help ensure that everyone, including KJC Rockin P Ranch camp staff, will have a most enjoyable and productive hunt. Prior to the hunt, KJC Rockin P Ranch will make contact with the client regarding the hunt, what to bring, weather conditions, travel arrangements, hunting license, etc. Practice shooting. We cannot emphasize the importance of practicing at the shooting range. Don’t just sight in your gun. Practice!
Hunt Information
All hunts are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. KJC Rockin P will hold your reservation for no more than ten days without a deposit. Hunts will start on the afternoon of the first day of the scheduled hunt and will end by 11:00 am on the last day of the scheduled hunt. Hunters should schedule their arrival for 1:00pm – 3:00 pm the day the hunt begins.
A two night non-refundable daily fee deposit is required per person. Harvest fees per animal will be collected at the end of each productive hunt. All payments will be paid with cash, cashiers check, or traveler’s checks.

Camp & Hunt Policies
On all of our big game hunts, KJC Rockin P does enforce a wounded animal policy. If you draw blood, the animal is yours. Everyone’s safety and well being is our #1 priority, period. Drinking of alcoholic beverages is not allowed while hunting, and KJC Rockin P Ranch reserves the right to not allow client to hunt if client is not of safe mind and being. As a matter of firearm safety, KJC Rockin P requires all hunters to shoot their firearms with a staff person at our range.

Travel
Hunters should schedule their arrival for 1:00pm – 3:00 pm the day the hunt begins. KJC Rockin P Ranch does not include airport shuttle from the major metropolitan airports. Brady Curtis Field and San Angelo are the nearest regional airports.
Hunt Inclusions
Overnight scheduled hunts include meals, lodging, bedding, towels and standard bath toiletries. Hunters are expected to bring personal items. Guides, skinning, and quartering, and icing of game are also included. Caping and taxidermy services are the responsibility of the hunter. Taxidermy services can be arranged by KJC Rockin P Ranch at the hunter’s expense.
Hunt Exclusions
KJC Rockin P Ranch does not provide regular hunting equipment needed by clients, guns, or personal effects, or provide alcoholic beverages. We can arrange to provide guns and ammo with proper notice. Hunters must pay for hunting licenses, taxidermy work, including shipping fees, and alcoholic beverages.
Shipping Of Trophies
Should KJC Rockin P Ranch have to ship cape and antlers to client’s requested destination, client will be charged for shipping charges, as well as a KJC Rockin P Ranch service charge for crating/handling.
Daily Fee
All Amenities Overnight: Daily Fees include lodging, meals, guide, and skinning and quartering of game.
Daily fees do not include alcoholic beverages, airport transfer, or gratuities.
Day Hunters
Day Hunter fees include guide only. Meals and lodging are at the hunter’s expense.
Caping and taxidermy services are the hunters responsibility. Taxidermy services can be arranged by KJC Rockin P Ranch at the hunter’s expense.
Pricing
Deposit of $ 250/person for hunters. For non hunters who just want to come along $125/night
